Join France and Germany for a celebration of European friendship
Germany and France showcase their friendship and highlight the best of both countries at their shared Open House. This year, the German Embassy in Washington, DC, will host this popular annual event. Visitors can discover the food, culture, language and diplomatic life of two major European nations.
You’ll be entertained by German and French music as you sample the culinary specialties and signature beverages of both countries in a French Café and a German Biergarten. Watch an art project come to life before your eyes! Kid-friendly activities include face painting, balloon animals and more. Discover the German Bauhaus architecture in a virtual reality.
