What it is about...

Reader's Theatre presents The Mighty Lalouche in celebration of France.

Miss Julie will read The Mighty Lalouche written by Matthew Olshan and illustrated by Caldecott Medal winner Sophie Black. The story is full of humor and heart and is set in Paris, France. It is about a humble postman named Lalouche who is small but has nimble hands, fast legs, and strong arms. When his job is replaced by an electric car, he turns to boxing to support himself and his pet finch, Genevieve. Following the story, participants will read from a script and bring the characters to life by acting out the story.
