Please join us for a discussion with Mr. Colin Brown, Deputy Director for Dispute Settlement and Legal Aspects of Trade at Policy Directorate-General for Trade, European Commission who leads the investor-state dispute settlement team in the trade and investment policy of the European Union. He developed the Investment Court System, and led the negotiations with Canada and the TTIP negotiations. He was the EU delegate to UNCITRAL and is responsible for the Regulation on Financial Responsibility for investor-state dispute settlement. Colin will address civil society concerns with ISDS, and explain the EU's approach to ICS.
