Agenda
What: A public event of the Jean Monnet Network for Atlantic Studies
When: Friday, July 20, 2017, 9:00am to 11:00am
How: supported and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union and organized by the Center for Transatlantic Relations of Johns Hopkins University SAIS with support from the Getulio Vargas Foundation and collaboration from the Atlantic Basin Initiative.
Why: To introduce ‘new generation scholars’ – students, research assistants and other young professionals engaged in international affairs — to the broader potentials of the Atlantic Basin, the emerging vision of a coherent and connected pan-Atlantic space, and the ongoing role of ‘new Atlantic Studies’ and its relevance with respect to regional and global governance challenges.
