The Embassy of Hungary gladly invites all amateur and pro artists (16+), their families, friends, and anyone who loves and respects Budapest and art just as we do to a special event! Our first ever painting marathon will be held on May 4, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at our Embassy of Hungary located in the tranquil Rock Creek Park of Washington D.C. (Address:

We are excited to see all your Budapest related memories and experiences coming to life on the canvas. The event is FREE to attend, paint (watercolor, acrylic and oil), brushes and canvas will be provided. You are welcome to bring your favorite tools! In order to comfortably accommodate all artists, please secure your spot by May 3 by sending us an email to rsvp.WAS@mfa.gov.hu
There will be a kid's corner for the younger ones with coloring, crafts and a cartoon nook.
The painting marathon will be followed by charity auction.
Plenty of free street parking is available on Spring of Freedom Street and in the Rock Creek Park Grove #1's lot.
