Conversations In Culture: “Something old and something new: folk dance in the modern world”

Put your dancing shoes on and prepare to learn an Estonian folk dance! In this unique presentation Mr. Märt Agu will talk about the development of Estonian folk dance during the last 20 years. Spectators will be invited to join in! The audience will see, analyze and combine the ideas that have been successful at the last dance festivals. We’ll see how dance patterns are born and how they correlate with Estonian traditional patterns. Estonian dance steps and combinations will be analyzed and maybe even a new Estonian folk dance will be born as a result of the seminar!

This program is in conjunction with the Embassy of Estonia.
