Do you know where Finland, the happiest country in the world, is located? In Europe, of course! But do you know where Finland is also located during the Kids Euro Festival? Well, in Minecraft! Come and learn about gaming, creativity and Finland!

School of Gaming aims at teaching kids problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and social skills with the help of gaming and professional game educators. At Kids Euro Festival, School of Gaming provides children as gamers with the opportunity to build their own piece of Finland in Minecraft with the help of a game educator. While building their own lot of land in virtual Finland, gamers will learn about Finland, Finnish language and culture in an entertaining and captivating way. The gaming session practices creativity, positive communication, and recognizing one’s own strengths.

There will be six gaming sessions during Kids Euro Festival:

Tuesday, October 20, from 4 pm to 6 pm (Link: https://youtu.be/KDYiiv1q9wE)

To play along, you will need to have the Minecraft Java version, which can be played on computers (PC & Mac). Unfortunately, the gaming session cannot be accessed with gaming consoles (Playstation, Nintendo Switch or Xbox) or via mobile phones or tablets.

While playing, please follow the School of Gaming's Youtube-channel. The game educator will be guiding you via that channel, and ask fun questions about Finland!

Those who do not have access to a computer with a Minecraft license can follow the gaming session via the livestream on the School of Gaming’s YouTube channel (please see the link above).
