During Soviet occupation of Latvia, many refused to comply with the regime. This is the story of one who found a particularly unique way of doing so: art. With clever creations and spiritual teachings that harkened back to "lost Latvia" through charm and lightness, Kurts Fridrihsons became a model and inspiration for many who rejected the existing system. Join the EU Delegation and Embassy of Latvia for a special screening of this documentary, followed by a discussion featuring the film's director and producer, Dzintra Geka, and Director of Foreign Policy in Focus, John Feffer.
Doors will open at 6:15, with the screening starting at 6:30.
Entrance is free, but registration is required. This event is in coordination with the Embassy of Latvia.
