Pan European Tax Update: Making Sense of the Changing US/European Tax Landscape

Since 2013 there have been seismic changes in the historic international tax rules that impact   investment and operations of US companies outside the US.

Though the lenses of tax practitioners from the US, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland and the Netherlands, we will discuss:

* The EU anti-tax avoidance directives, and how they revise thinking about structures,
* The impact of increasing transparency – CBC reporting, ruling exchanges
* Attempts at global agreement on tax norms – the impact of the multilateral instrument
* IP planning – what are countries doing to attract IP and R&D and how does that impact US companies
* Corporate tax reform – the ability to move earnings tax efficiently, and the race to the bottom of tax rates
* The new tomorrow – the taxation of the digital economy
