Marianna invites all children ages 5+ to her kingdom full of colors, shapes and sounds, where even a young and budding designer-to-be can create objects of unexpectedly stunning beauty. All you need is a pair of scissors, colored paper and your own imagination! Round up the whole family for this art workshop inspired by Polish folklore!

Ms. Oklejak graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in book and illustration design. She illustrates books and designs posters and publications. Many of her works have received the Book of the Year distinctions awarded by the awarded by the Polish branch of IBBY, and have been placed on the List of Treasures in the Children's Book Museum in Poland, the list of “White Ravens” at the Internationale Jugendbibliothek in Munich, and the honorary international IBBY list. Her works were also featured as finalists in the following prestigious competitions: CJ Picture Book Award, Golden Pinwheel, Tallinn Illustration Triennal and Nami Island. She has been hosted at many exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
She has illustrated the popular "Basia" book series in Poland, written by Zofia Stanecka. She has participated in the "Look! Polish Picture Book!" program, which promotes Polish illustrations.
Books with her illustrations have been published so far in France, the Netherlands, the United States, Spain, China, Serbia and Great Britain.
