About Giorgiana Elena Popan
Giorgiana Elena Popan is a professional actress, storyteller and trainer who interprets her own and traditional Romanian stories abroad. She has a television show for children. Twelve years ago, she founded The Romanian Storytelling Association, and created an annual International Storytelling Festival. She helped to create the “Sf. Nicolae” Private Primary School in Arad. Giorgiana has represented Romania in festivals in Iran, Kenya, India, South Korea, Thailand, & in every country in the EU.
During this video she wears a traditional Romanian folk costume.

Petre Ispirescu (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈpetre ispiˈresku]; January 1830 – 21 November 1887) was a Romanian editor, folklorist, printer and publicist. He is best known for his work as a gatherer of Romanian folk tales, recounting them with a remarkable talent. Petre Ispirescu began to publish Romanian folk stories in 1862. His major work, Romanian Fairy Tales, was published in 1882.
