Schuman Challenge

Twenty-nine teams of undergraduate students from U.S. universities have competed in the 2020 edition of the Schuman Challenge that took place on October 28-30, 2020.

The theme of the 2020 edition was: "How should the EU and the U.S respond to China’s alternative models of governance? Address a specific example or case study."

The George Washington University won the contest, with the University of Michigan (Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy) and the University of California, Berkeley ranking second and third respectively. You can watch the final round here(link is external).

Honorable mentions were made for runners-up: Georgetown University, University of Rochester, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Northern California Chapel Hill, Metropolitan State University of Denver, American University School of International Service, Howard University, Wheaton College, and California Polytechnic State University.
