Sound Impact: Paisajes Españoles

An evening of Spanish music featuring the works of acclaimed Spanish clarinetist/composer Jose Gonzalez Granero, Fulbright alumna and cellist Danielle Cho, violinist Rebecca Jackson, violinist Regino Madrid and violist Tiffany Richardson.

Sound Impact is a collective of renowned musicians dedicated to serving communities and igniting positive change in the U.S. and abroad through live performance, educational programs, and creative collaboration. This season, Sound Impact presents concerts at the Kennedy Center, National Gallery of Art, and the Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Square.

Spanish clarinetist and composer Jose Gonzalez Granero is principal clarinetist of the San Francisco Opera, a position he has held since 2010. He was recently awarded First Prize Winner for the Villiers Quartet New Works Composition Competition (London) and has been nominated twice for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. His most recent work, Concerto de Camera, was premiered at Stanford’s Bing Concert Hall featuring Ensemble San Francisco and Stanford Philharmonia.
