STILL LIFE by Karin Broos

STILL LIFE is a solo exhibition of large-scale paintings by Karin Broos, one of the most acclaimed artists working in Sweden today. Broos draws from her early experience with abstract painting to create contemplative and photo-realistic works, often inspired by an empathetic woman’s perspective. Her paintings depict wistful scenes of forests and lakes from around her home in Värmland, Sweden, and thoughtful portraits of her family.
