The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership: Opportunities for Pittsburgh

Please join us for a panel discussion on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP), the comprehensive free trade deal between the United States and the European Union that aims to reduce barriers to trade, eliminate red tape, and make it easier for companies to enter the EU market. If passed, T-TIP could have benefits for businesses and major economic sectors in Pittsburgh and across Pennsylvania.

Get to know more about T-TIP and how it will impact you as a businessperson and consumer. A panel of international trade experts from government and business will share their expertise and discuss the status of the T-TIP negotiations.

Speakers:

  • Esther Nieto Hernandez, EU Delegation to the United States, Deputy Head of Trade
  • David Lee, U.S. International Trade Administration, Senior Trade Economist
  • Rosalyn Steward, Small Business Association Office of Advocacy, Assistant Chief Counsel
